This two-unit online short course is ideal for therapists experienced in creative therapies who want to strengthen their theoretical grounding and learn ways to use our specifically developed suite of assessment rubrics such as the Clinical Assessment Mapping Document STT_CAMD

The Symbol Work unit offers an engaging exploration of symbolic meaning, giving you the insight and tools to interpret symbols with confidence and form robust clinical hypotheses in your therapeutic work to combine theory with practice.

Delivery mode

Online Guided Learning
Learners will join the Graduate Diploma training program to complete these two units.
We meet weekly online as a group to work through the learning material and satisfy the unit requirements.

Duration

10 weeks with weekly online tutorials 1 hour duration
Tuesday night 6.30 – 7.30pm (NSW Time).
Unit – Research and apply personality and development theories (CHCCSL004)
Unit – Apply symbol work in Sandtray Therapy (NAT11242004)

Entry requirements

You will need to have a Bachelor Degree in a cognizant field, or education and/or 3 years minimum current and relevant experience with Diploma level.

Assessment requirements

Task 1. Case Studies
Task 2. Symbol Work Analysis

Course fees

  • Enrolment fee: $50.00 AUD paid by Student (upfront payment)
  • Theories in Sandtray Therapy: $1175.00 AUD paid by Student
  • Symbolwork in Sandtray Therapy: $1175.00 AUD paid by Student
